Biography

Obadiah was born on 14 March 1841 in Chester County, South Carolina, USA. He was the son of John Burrell Cornwell and Hannah (Colvin) Cornwell.

In the 1850 census Obadiah (age 7) was in Chester, South Carolina, United States.^[1]

Obadiah was in the South Carolina Civil War Service Records of Confederate Soldiers in 1861 in South Carolina.^[2]

Obadiah died at the age of 21 on 10 April 1862 in Charlottesville City, Virginia, USA.

Obadiah was mentioned in his fathers will which passed probate on 15 November 1858.^[3]
