Biography

Married and living in Gothenburg, Sweden at the time of the Swedish Census 1900. Her maiden name has been mistranscribed, should be Cocozza.^[1]

In the baptism record for daughter Filomena Lucia there is a full birth date for Maria Antonia Cocozza: 30 May 1870.^[2]

Research note

A couple of children born to Italian parents - Gaetano Giacopelli and his wife Catherine - in New York in 1934 and 1937^[3] have by mistake been attached to Maria Antonia and her husband. Since Maria Antonia was born in 1870 she was well over 60 years old when these children were born.
