Biography
Reverend David Corpe was born April 16, 1740, in East Greenwich, Kent County, Rhode Island, a son of John Corpe and Elizabeth Vaughn [1]
On February 6, 1763, in Warwick, Kent county, Rhode Island, David married Susanna Essex. [2] Children of David and Susannah include:
- Dean Essex Corpe, born July 8, 1772, in West Greenwich [3]
On October 21, 1794, David married secondly, Mrs. Sarah (Walling) Davis, a daughter of Cornelius Walling and the widow of Edward Davis, who died May 12, 1790, in Glocester. Sarah was born 1741 and survived her second husband, as well. She is buried in the Until the Day Dawn Cemetery, in Angelica, Allegany county, New York. [4]
David died June 13, 1819, in Angelica, Allegany county, New York and is buried in the Until the Day Dawn Cemetery. [5]
