Biography

"Jacob Corson was probably the second child of John and Mary Corson. Concerning him, Florence Corson Barnes noted on her chart that his father conveyed the original 300 acres, purchased from the West Jersey Society, in 1695, to Jacob and that the deed was recorded on Nov. 5, 1731. A record of this deed was not found at Cape May Court House or at Trenton, but as the original tract seems to have been in Jacob's possession, this transfer was probably made. Jacob married Naomi ____, whose maiden name was not learned. Naomi was also referred to as Amy..."[1]

Jacob Corson died 4 Apr 1737.[citation needed]
