Biography

Eli Corwin son of David & Deborah (Wells) Corwin was born 1 April 1757, and died 16 March 1833. He married Dorothy Horton 1 May 1777. (from Aquebogue Records.} She was born 3 April 1756 and died 5 January 1840. In 1775, he signed an engagement to support Congress. He bought land in Orange Co., N. Y., in 1809. His will is at Goshen.
