PS: Did you add some Tags? They control the activity which is included in the weekly emails from WikiTree. To get the best results, add separate tags for each surname and spelling variation of interest. You can have up to 20 total and can delete some if you are receiving irrelevant information.

Hi again.

It seems that weird things happen when more of us family members are entering info. My cousin (Cindy Burba) entered info and "lost" her dad. She emailed me to ask me to fix it. I found her dad OK, but found that she and two of her brothers had disappeared. I added them again (with the "same" feature) but then they end up twice each on my watchlist. There's got to be an easier way!!

I've added over a hundred names so far. And I've made one mistake where I added one person twice, and an ex-husband (of mine!!  ;-)) that I'd like to remove. I erased the info, but the "extra" Coss (#13--the legit one is #8) and Robertson are still on my watchlist.

Are they really gone or do I need to do something else?

Hi Jean. No problem, once you know how it all works. First, click the "Edit" tab. In the right column of the editing page you can change relationships. You'll need to click something like "add/edit" by the children or "add/remove a spouse." When adding new children, uncheck the button that says "X is the other parent" if the spouse isn't father. E-mail me if you want more explanation or when you have other questions. I'm happy to help.

How do I show more children for a wife than for the husband---subsequent marriage(s)? I entered the children for the wife and they show up on her [first] husband's profile, but they are not his.

Also, how do I enter additional/previous spouses?

Hi, Chris! WikiTree has amazing possibilities! I find it a tad confusing to navigate, but then, so are family trees! Maybe some navigating instructions for administrative people and non-admin folks as well? I'm planning to take my laptop to a couple of family reunions to enter info directly onto the program and then figure out a group email for far-away relatives so that we get the whole family(ies) entered!
