Biography

Margaret Cotton was born about 1803 [1][2] in Dumbleton, Gloucestershire, England & baptised there 10th June 1803,[1][2] the daughter of Charles Cotton & Mary Lock.

Margaret Cotton, Spinster & John Whing, Bachelor, both of this Parish, were married 16th September 1830 in the Parish Church of Aston Somerville, Gloucestershire, England by Banns by Wm Pashley, Curate. John & Margaret both signed. Witnesses were William Tomlins & Sarah Tomlins.[3]

Margaret Whing was named as a beneficiary under the will of her father Charles Cotton proved 29th August 1842.[4]

Margaret Whing died aged 43, in 1846 in Ross, Herefordshire, England .[5]
