Biography

He was born on 11 Jul 1856 in Kentucky, USA and his parents were John Couch and Rachel Combs.

William "Billy" Couch married about 1880 to Alice "Aley" Napier (1859-1917), daughter of Martha "Patsey" (Sizemore) and Rene Napier, Jr. on Bull Creek in Leslie County, Kentucky, USA.

The 1880 census record shows them both with a check mark in the the widowed or divorced column. The 1900 census indicates that they married in the year 1880.

They had a farm at Brownsfork in Perry County, Kentucky, USA. He cut trees and floated them down the river to sell.

He died of typhoid fever on 30 June 1914 and his wife, Alice, died three years later from a fall from her horse on Town Mt. They were buried in a family cemetery on Brownsfork in Perry County, Kentucky, USA, ^[1] close to where they raised their family.
