Biography
Lucinda was born on 28 December 1859 in Winchester Township, Dundas County, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Christian Jonathan Cougler and Ellen (Barkley) Cougler.[1]
When Lucinda was about 19 she married James Henry Froats on 31 May 1881 in Chesterville, 1654335, Ontario, Canada. The couple had 8 children: Gertrude Annie Pearl Froats, Elgin Grant Froats, Nellie Froats, James Oliver Herbert Ward Froats, Annice Aquilla Froats, Edward Ellery Froats, Carman Froats and Nellie Froats.[1]
Lucinda died at the age of about 65 on 15 April 1927 in Inkerman, Mountain Township, Dundas County, Ontario, Canada.[2]
