His father: James Coulter—aged 32; brother of William and George; his wife was Agnes (Nancy) Ferguson, daughter of John, and after her death Jane Cooper, daughter of William of West Cambridge; was the father of the late Mrs. Dr. Henry Gordon and grandfather of Henry Coulter of this village; lived on a farm now part of the Woodlands cemetery; died in 1864.
