Hilda was born on the 27th May 1906 the daughter of Charles Albert Coulter (1868 - ~1941) and Emily Amelia (Laurence) Coulter (~1865 - 1931), and her birth was registered in the 2nd quarter of that year in Kensington, Middlesex. She was christened on the 22nd July 1906 at All Saints Church, Notting Hill, London, and was living at 337 Ladbroke Grove, Notting Hill, London.[1][2][3]

1911 Census on the 2nd April 1911 Hilda was living at 337 Ladbroke Grove, Kensington, Middlesex with her parents Charles and Emily and her siblings Albert, Muriel, William, Lilian and Helena.[4]
In the 1921 census Hilda (age 15), Kaney Warehouse, was the single daughter of Charles Albert Coulter at 337 Ladbroke Grove, Kensington, London & Middlesex, England.[5]

1939 National Register on the 29th September 1939 Hilda was living at 10 Victoria Promenade, Northampton, Northamptonshire with her son John F. E. Quin.[9]
In 1946 until 1965 Hilda was living at 171 Kilburn Lane, Willesden, London. Her husband John also lived there until he died in 1955.[10][11]
Hilda's husband John died on the 24th September 1955 and his estate of £619 11s 5d passed to Hilda.[12]
Hilda died on the 14th December 1989 and her death was registered in the 4th quarter of that year in Windsor, Berkshire. Her estate, not exceeding £100,000, was administered in Oxford, Oxfordshire, on the 19th January 1990. She had been living at 8 Brunel Close, Maidenhead, Berkshire.[13][14][15]
