Biography

James was the son of Daniel Coulter and Margaret Nixon of Terressan, Derryloran. The family attended 3rd Cookstown Presbyterian. He married Jane Purvis prior to 1840. [1]

John Coulter, my great grand uncle bought Killymoon Castle in Cookstown for £100 in 1922.

There was a picture taken shortly after the purchase in 1922 of John Coulter and his four brothers but as yet I have not been able to find it.
