Biography

Richard was born about 1614.^[1] He was the son and heir of William Courtenay and Jane Basset.^[1]

He married Philippa Prouz 6 June 1637 at Chagford.^[1] Together they had three children.

He passed away before 1660.

His will was dated 30 May 1656 and proved 19 July 1660.^[1]
