Married first Elizabeth WADE on 8 Feb 1840 in Winchester Hampshire, England, where he is listed as a gentleman. He and Elizabeth had at least two female children Elizabeth and Harriet. Census records lindicate he resided at Crawley and later Barton Stacey Hampshire.
Married secondly Emma GARDNER in 1876 at Wells, Somerset, England.
Jacob died on 23 Apr 1880, being late of Crawley, Hampshire and probate was granted on 30 June 1880, property less than 100 pounds.
