Pearl M. LaPrad
Pearl Mary LaPrad, 87, a longtime Monroe area resident until moving to Florida in 1954, died Thursday of natural causes at the Monroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala, Fla. She had been ill for several years and hospitalized a day.
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Allore Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday. Prayers will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and a funeral Mass is set for 10 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, Newport. The Rev. Jack Fabian will officiate. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Born Feb. 1, 1906, in Newport, she was the daughter of Burt and Susie (Cousino) Cousino. She married Henry LaPrad on Nov. 16, 1926, in St. Charles Catholic Church, Newport. He died Jan. 10, 1985.
She was a homemaker and she and her husband celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1976.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Edwards of Ocala.
She was preceded in death by her parents. four brothers and a sister.
