The wrong John Coverdale may be attached as Richard's son. Richard's will leaves a bequest to "the heirs of my son John," so Richard's son appears to have predeceased him. It may even be that the John Coverdel with a 1763 will mentioned in the notes in this profile was Richard's son rather than his father.
