She was my 3rd gr grandmother on my Daddy J.D. Carter's side of the family, J.D.'s mother was Lura Smith Carter. Lura's Mother was Mary Caroline McCafferty Smith her mother was Elizabeth Ann Davis McCafferty and her mother was Elizabeth Covington Davis.
