Florence was born in 1884. She is the daughter of Wesley Cowan and Mary Moody. She passed away in South Australia during 1974.

Florence was born in Two Wells, South Australia on 22 July 1884 to Wesley Cowan and Mary Moody. ^[1] The following birth notice was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Express and Telegraph, on 25 July 1884:^[2]

COWAN.—On the 22nd July, at Two Wells, the wife of W. B. Cowan, of a daughter. Both doing well.

Florence married Arthur Gerald Taylor in Two Wells, South Australia on 26 January 1904.^[3] The following marriage notice was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Express and Telegraph, on 2 February 1904:^[4]

TAYLOR—COWAN.—On the 26th January, at the residence of the bride's parents by the Rev. Father O'Neill, Arthur Gerald, eldest son of Richard Taylor, "Thrushgrove," Morphett Vale, to Florence Jane, second daughter of W. B. Cowan,"Maysville," Two Wells.

Florence died in South Australia on 14 August 1974 at the age of 90 years.^[5]

Florence's remains were cremated at the Centennial Park Crematorium in Pasadena, South Australia on 16 August 1974 and then interred in the cemetery at St Jude's Anglican Church in Brighton, South Australia on 27 August 1974.^[6][7][8]
