Biography

James was born in 1910. He is the son of Frank Cowan and Rhoda Chisholm. He passed away in 2003.

James served in the Royal Australian Air Force during the Second World War. He enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 23 June 1940. He was discharged with the rank of Flight Lieutenant with the Headquarters Western Area on 28 October 1944.[1]
