Biography

Joyce was born in 1930. She was the daughter of Neil Cowan and Edith Giger. She passed away in 2012 and is buried in Monte Vista, Colorado. [1][2]

Joyce B. Crow, 81, was quietly taken to Heaven, March 29, 2012. Joyce has been in Colorado surrounded by her family since the 2010 death of her husband, Victor. We have treasured this time with her! She is survived by her four daughters, their children and grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, four brothers and their families.

Allen, Nov. 30 – Mrs. Neil Cowan of the Pleasant Hill district, entertained a group of children, at her home Saturday afternoon in honor of the eighth birthday anniversary of her daughter, Joyce. Those present were the guest of honor, Joyce Cowan, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Huntsinger and daughter, Iris, and son, Clyde, of Madison; Mrs. Robert Cowan and sons, Teddy and Terry, of Emporia, Delores Giger, Delma Giger, and Anna May Giger, of Admire; Betty Frownfelter, Martha Williams, Thelma La Mont, Dorthy La Mont, J. D. Wheat, Jimmie and Lee Lowder, Mrs. William Giger, and daughter Wilma, and son Russell Dale, Mrs. Jack Kester, and daughters, Marie and Georgia, Mrs. Albert Saffer and daughter, Vesta, Mrs. Mary Giger and daughter Eveiyn, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Cowan and daughters, Laura, and Edith, Jean, and son Marshall, all of Allen, ------------- David Cowan of the Maxson district. The afternoon was spent in playing games. The hostess served refreshments.
