Biography

Sarah Ann Cowan was born in 1860.^[1] She married Louis Edward Pike in 1888.^[2] They lived on the farm 'Pikedale' in Old Junee.^[3] She passed away on 22 December 1929.^[4][5]

She lived in Junee district with her husband for over 45 years at 'Pikedale' 12 miles from Junee where they successfully farmed. After Mr. Pike's death Sarah and the three sons carried on the farm. One son was killed in a motor car accident.
