Biography
Annie (Cowen) Reddaway was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Annie May Cowen was born in 1867 in Emerald Hill, Victoria. She was the daughter of Hannah Gilliam and Thomas Cowen[1].
Annie (23) married James Henry Reddaway (24) (born on August 6, 1861 in Kooringa, South Australia) in 1886 in Adelaide, South Australia[2] . Their children were:
- Hurtle James Reddaway (1887– )
- Annie Ruby Olivett Reddaway (1888–1938)
- Harold Percy Reddaway (1891–1959)
Annie died on November 20, 1926[3] in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, aged 63. She was buried in West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide, Adelaide City, South Australia[4].
Research Note Parents are uncertain. May be attached to the wrong parents. There is an Annie Neilson who is reported to be the Annie Cowen of these parents[5]
