William Cowles, formerly an architect and commercial apple grower in Vermont, William S. Cowles has resided on a ranch near Rowe, new Mexico, since 1984 after previously developing Sugarbush Valley, one of New England’s largest ski resorts and Pine Cay, a privately owned island turned exclusive resort in the British West Indies.^[5]
