Biography

Oakley Cowman was born on May 5, 1900 in Perry, Marion, Iowa, United States, son of William Franklin Cowman (1872–1964) and Edna Horn (1872–1907).

Oakley (20) married Mary Catherine Kingery (18) (born on May 21, 1902 in Red Rock, Marion, USA) on October 6, 1920 in Mahaska County, Iowa.^[4] Their daughter was Edna Josephine Cowman (1921–2000).
