William Cowper ... ^[1] Elias was a merchant who was living in S Thomas, Birmingham when he married in 1836. In 1871 he was a potato merchant living in Birmingham with his wife, children and a servant named Harriet Rowley (18) of Worfield, Shropshire. In 1891 he was a clerk living in Bath rd, Somerset with his wife, children and niece Annie Cooper (10) of Cornwall. Can you add any information on William Cowper?
