Biography

Katherine Cowper was born about 1584 (est. based on the year of her marriage, 1602). She was the third daughter of John Cowper and Elizabeth Ironsides. A Katherine Coweuppe, daughter of John Coweuppe, was christened 2 Sep 1599 at Cornhill St Michael, London, England, but it's unknown if the Katherine of this profile would have been christened 15 years after her birth.^[1]

Katherine married, 8 Jun 1602, John Tey of Essex, gentleman of Clement's Inn.^[2] Katherine and John had a son, John Tey.
