O and knowing you are so great with the language, something very different, but WikiTree is working on making the help pages available for members from all over the world by translating the Help pages in different languages, since you know the language perhaps you would like to help translate and make WIkiTree Help pages available for members from Indonesia ?

Here you can find all info about it and you can contact Ales if you would like to add a new language (Indonesian) Help:Translation

Greets and have a wonderful day,

Hi Susan !

Could you please welcome Aiman Talib ? He is from Indonesia and might need some help in his own language?

Also he uploaded a Gedcom, which is wonderful of course, especially because there are not so many Indonesian members working on adding their family, but I noticed there are a lot of people in it without any dates, so I don't know if he is planning to add them all or if everything is clear already for him, but could you explain a bit that profiles before adding them at least need a Birth date (including his/her ? own) ? Anyway he probably could use a bit of help to show him around and explain things in his own language.

Greets from the Netherlands and many thanks in advance !

Susan,

This profilel https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/De_TOLEDO_Y_FERNÁNDEZ-1 seems to be in the pre-1500 range. Here is the link for Pre-1500 profiles 1500 Profiles

These need to be edited by certification. They need more than one source. They also should not be copied.

It is best for any profile, to use the sources, and put the gist of the data into your own words.

thank you

Susan, you have just posted copyrighted material on the profile of De_Oyarzún_y_Bazán-1

Please review the WikiTree policy on NOT doing this at: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Copying_from_Wikipedia

You also still seem to be using unsourced online trees as sources. Please see Isabelle Rassinot's comment here on 12 Oct 17.

Thank you

Susan, what you have just pasted on the profile of Richard Phelips https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Phelips-16 is copyrighted information and should be removed immediately. It can be used as a source, but not copied in its entirety. Even if it were not copyrighted, then the recommendation on WikiTree is not to copy and paste large sections of text, see here https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Copying_Text Thank you

Susan I notice you are creating some pre-1500 profiles using this source https://archive.org/details/beattyasfordsbya00turk but although the information it contains looks reasonable, it doesn't seem to cite any sources to corroborate the information. With pre-1500 profiles we really should be using either original sources or secondary sources that at least cite primary records. This website is a good place to start to look for primary records - http://www.medievalgenealogy.org.uk/index.html British History Online is another good source for both primary and secondary sources http://www.british-history.ac.uk/ Thank you

Susan, I've just noticed that you have created quite a few duplicate profiles of the Langton and related families. I have suggested three merges, but there are others that will also need to be merged. Please check carefully for duplicates before creating new profiles, particularly with pre-1500 profiles where the dates of birth or death may be guesses and won't find an exact match. Thank you

Susan, Please remember that we use standard naming conventions with Pre-1700 profiles. Per our guidelines Names that include ‘Fitz’: Fitz- names should be written with mid-caps, that is, a capital letter for the father's name. For example, write FitzAlan, FitzGeoffrey, FitzGerald, etc. This is the same pattern as used in names with Mac-: MacMurray, MacDonald, etc. Do not leave a space.
