Was killed while helping build the Broadway Brethren Church in Logansport, INDIANA. According to newspaper reports of the day; he was buried under three ft. of rubble in the foundation of the church after a truck passed too close to the work site. He lived three days after the accident with a crushed skull and multiple injuries. He was awake the entire time.
