Phoebe Cox (Cock) was baptised on 14th November 1813 ^[1] at Sheringham, Norfolk, England, the daughter of John & Phoebe Cox (Cock).

Phoebe Cox of the Parish of Sheringham, Single Woman & John Wells of the Parish of Sheringham, Single man were married in the Parish Church of Sheringham by Banns on 23rd January 1834 by Benj'n Pulleyne, Vicar. John signed his name & Phoebe made her mark. Witnesses were Charles West, Alice Wells, John Cox & Eleanor Bishop. ^[2]
