Biography
Allison Cox lived in Appalachia, in Mississippi.
Allison Cox, son of Thomas Cox and Margaret Allison, was born on 15 Feb. 1803.[1]
Son of Thomas and Peggy Allison Cox. Husband of Catherine Jones Cox (1804-Mar 1-1878). She is buried at Central Ave. Cemetery, Memphis.[1]
He was a farmer when he and Catherine appeared on the census of 11 Nov. 1850 at Tippah County, Mississippi.[2]
Allison died on 15 Jan. 1855 and was buried at New Hope Cemetery, Ashland, Benton County, Mississippi. His memorial has biographical material and links to those of family members.[1]
