Research on this ancestor Fanny Emma Guinness nee Fitzgerald (mother of Harry Guinness) shows a little confusion which blocks our descent to Henry VIIIs father-in-law and beyond! Either Her father Edward M Fitzgerald had 2 wives, charlotte Jephson in 1831 -with the strong line back to 1066 and sarah stopford 4 months later in 1832 and managed to have 3 children in that time! And die in 2 separate places! or as I see it one E.M fitzgerald from Suffolk- in the navy who met his wife charlotte Jephson in Gibraltar- married her in 1831 and had 2 sons and a daughter and died in Lowestoft, Suffolk, and this has become entangled with a distinct other E.M. Fitzgerald from Ireland who married sarah stopford 1832 after her 1st husband died

A possible cause for the deaths of Tom and Sarah during that period would be cholera. There were two major outbreaks, the first during the 1830's and the second during the 1840's. It mostly impacted the main shipping ports, but it appears that there was an Army base in Weedon which could have introduced it there. HTH
