When Franklin Asbury Cox was born on January 4, 1879, his father, Caleb, was 55 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 33. He married Francis Adeline Barton and they had eight children together. He then married Rosa Permilia in 1927. He died on March 4, 1938, in Santa Anna, Texas, at the age of 59.[1]
