Note H172Mrs. Phoebe Howell: Rocky Mountain News obituary 26-Nov-1965 p46 - have copy. States that she died at the Offield Nursing Home, 3249 W. Fairview Place in Denver. She was born April 26, 1882 at Glencoe, MO and was brought to Denver by her parents at the age of 8 and attended North High School. She married Harry Howell in 1907. Phoebe was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was survived by Maurine Howell and Bill Howell; two sisters, Mrs. W. F. White, Huntsville, AL, and Mrs. C. F. Lewis, Covina, CA, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Phoebe was baptized Dec 31, 1899 at Beth Eden Baptist Church, Denver, Colorado. Church clerk was Mildred Boal.
