Cox, 43, 530 S. Bluff St., died at 8 p.m., Friday at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis. He had been a patient there for three weeks. Born near Monon Feb. 5, 1926, he was the son of Charles and Agnes Franks Cox. A Veteran of World War 2, he served in Germany. He was a member of the Monticello Methodist Church and the American Legion. He was active in Scout work where he had received the Order of the Arrow award. His marriage on May 15, 1949, was to Alice Million, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Richey and Bill at home; his father, Charles Cox, Crown Point; his mother, Mrs. Agnes Cox, Monticello; a sister, Mrs. Lester Norman, Lafayette. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home. The Rev. M.A. Madsen and the Rev. J.C. Chinnock will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today
