Elizabeth Cox was born on 2nd April 1807 at Sydney, Colony of New South Wales (Australia). She was the second daughter of Francis Cox and his de facto wife, Frances Morton.[1][2]
She married William Todhunter in 1825 in St Philip's Church of England (Anglican Church), Sydney.[3] William acted as W C Wentworth's agent even before Wentworth married Elizabeth's sister, Sarah. He also managed Wentworth's 2,000acs Hunter Valley Luskintyre property. Their sons later managed his north-western squatting properties.
Elizabeth passed away as a result of complications with her eleventh childbirth on 18th May 1844 at Luskintyre.
