Biography

Leota was born in 1889. She is the daughter of Ashbel Cox and Florence Miller. She passed away in 1979.

Aug. 19, 1909 the Phillips School in Monroe Co., Ind. had a home coming reunion and picnic. Miss Lola Cox of St. Augustine Fla. attended. She was called Lola, the Cox Record (by Cassius Weller) calls her Leela, It was stated she was a daughter of Florence Miller Cox, a former pupil and teacher.
