Notes on husband's two marriages from Binns (p. 4):
"Thomas Edgerton, Jr., son of Thomas Edgerton and Sarah Stephens born about 1735; d 4-24-1794. Married 4-27-1759 Elizabeth Saint, at Haddonfield, NJ. She died about 1776. Thomas remarried 5-21-1778, Sarah Cox, b 8-21-1751, Dobbs County, North Carolina. Married at the house of Richard Cox on Neuse River, North Carolina."
I don't know at this time what relationship Richard Cox had to Sarah. Her father was Thomas Cox. Later:Richard Cox was likely her uncle (father's brother).
Note: The user-submitted record, which gives no sources, states they were married in Haddonfield, Gloucester, New Jersey. From Quaker records, Binns has them petitioning the Haddonfield Quaker Meeting for re-admission into the church after marrying outside of it (pp. 1-2). Exactly where they were married remains unknown, but Binns also has them marrying in Haddonfield. Both sources agree on the date.
