Biography

Nat was born in 1913. [1] He was the son of Jesse Cox and Lottie Whitney. The Cox family lived along Shore Road in Edmunds, Maine but temporarily moved to Marion around 1920 in the hopes that the move would improve Lottie Cox's health. [2] She passed away in November of that same year. Nat was only seven years old. After Nat's father passed away in February 1922, he lived as a foster child on various farms in Washington County. In 1930 he was living with the Bunker family. [3] Nat moved to Massachusetts in 1930 or 1931. He lived in Hopedale and worked as a fireman while completing a tool and die apprenticeship with the Draper Corporation. [4] He married Doris Daniels of Somerville, Massachusetts on 19 Jun 1940. They were married in Mendon, Massachusetts at an outdoor ceremony at the Daniels' family summer home (called Shady Pine). They had four children and lived most of their married lives in the home they built at 54 George Street, Mendon. On October 16, 1940 Nat registered for the World War II draft but he was not called up. [5] He passed away in 1995 and is buried with his wife in Swan Dale Cemetery, Mendon, Mass. [6] [7] [8]

This is supposed to be the profile of Nathaniel B. Cox, not Cox B. Cox. How do I fix this? Why was his name replaced by "Cox Cox"???
