7. Obit: Mrs. Bernice Goodale Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Sunset Hills Mortuary Chapel for Bernice A. Goodale who died Thursday at a Portland nursing home. She was 66. Mrs. Goodale was born in Burchard, Neb., and had been a resident of Portland 30 years. She was employed by Meier & Frank Co. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Leona) Nicoletti, Portland, and Mrs. Wallace (Patricia) Johnson, Vancouver, Wash.; two sons, Bruce and Charles, both of Portland; a brother, William Cox, of Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. Jesse Cook and Mrs. Daisy Stewart, both of Illinois, and Mrs. Stella Mapes of Florida; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memorial Park. (Oregonian, Aug. 31, 1973, p. 51)
