I notice you have been adding profiles for English people born before 1700 without adding a source at the time of creation. The standard for pre-1700 profiles is a little stricter than it is for profiles after this date and so a reliable source needs to be used when the profile is created. It would be super if you could go back and add sources to all your unsourced pre-1700 profiles before you create any more. Cheers, Elizabeth co-leader England Project.
I have just initiated a number of merges for some Cox family profiles you added a few days ago. These individuals were already on wikitree. thus creating duplicate profiles. Each individual on wikitree should be represented by a single profile. Please make sure to check that you re not creating duplicates
Kind regards, Kaitlyn
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
