Services for Dora Dean Lacy Williams will be held at Radar Funeral Home in Longview on Wednesday April 3rd at 1:00pm. Dean went to be with the Lord on March 29th surrounded by love ones at Whispering Pines Nursing Home at the age of 90.
Dean was born in Texarkana on January 25, 1929 to Jeff and Dora Cox. She attended school at Atlanta, Texas. She was a pre-K and Kindergarten teacher at McNeal Private school, worked at Longview Hardware Store and at Allied Bank in Longview for a number of years. Dean enjoyed fishing, her flowers, going to senior dances, and watching birds on the back patio. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers and her husband Bob. Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Joyce Vriezelaar and husband Terry, Vickie Simmons, and Peggy Jackson and husband Gary; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three sisters and many nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening April 2nd from 5-7 PM at Rader's Funeral Home. Internment following services at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Please joins us in celebrating her life. An online guestbook may be signed at www.raderfh.com
