Biography

James Henry (Garner) Cox was a Baptist minister and a Republican, Harriet Ann Rule Cox was Methodist and a Democrat. As a Baptist circuit rider, James ministered to the following churches and possibly others near Knoxville: Ball Camp, Beaver Ridge, Lovell, Grigsby's Chapel, Chandlers View, and Fairvew
