Hopkins-373 'Bold text'== Biography == {{Mayflower Descendants WikiTree ID- 373 Stephen Hopkins living=y }} I lived in 4 states growing up, finally in N.CA. I graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a BA in English. Worked for the University of California-Berkeley- University Relations, Publications Dept. for all campuses, then in libraries in 2 different universities (Humanities Library & Law Library). Accepted into a Master's program for library science at UC but did not attend because I married, moved throughout the SF Bay Area, with the Vietnam War interfering with our lives. Then I was home with my 5 children-adults now. I've always corresponded with older relatives who didn't live near us and like to keep in touch with family and friends. I still enjoy baking and cooking and of course, genealogy!

I am doing ancestry research for both sides of my family. My mother's paternal side was researched from about 1780-1920 by my great aunt (sister to my grandfather) who was a college librarian in Upstate NY for many years. I have taken the family lineage back centuries and up to the present family members--a big report!
