Biography

Paul-Marie Coûteaux is a famous French politician, writer, and former Member of the European Parliament for Ile-de-France with the Mouvement pour la France. He is also a Member of the Bureau of the Independence and Democracy and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Paul-Marie was born in Paris in 1956, the son of the famous French novelist and screeenwriter André Couteaux by an early wife before André became successful.

In his early political career, from 1981 to 1983, as a young man in his mid-twenties Paul-Marie aligned with Michel Jobert, a French politician of the left-wing Gaullist orientation.
