Elizabeth was christened on 21 September 1823 and was the daughter of John and Sarah Craft. She was named as mother on the statutory death record of her daughter Mary Ann (spelled as Croft but as Craft on the statutory record of Mary Ann's birth and that of her brothers and sisters)
