Biography

When Moses Craft was born on June 4, 1785, in Pomfret, Connecticut, his father, Benjamin, was 50 and his mother, Anna, was 42. He married Esther Mary Cannon on January 6, 1818, in Norwalk, Connecticut. They had four children in 10 years. He died on April 10, 1839, in Troy, New York, at the age of 53, and was buried there.
