John Craft was born on 13 November 1849 at Mangrove Mountain, Mangrove Creek, New South Wales, Australia [1], the son of James Craft and Ann Woodbury and the brother of James Craft, William Craft, Emma Craft, Frances Craft, Susannah Craft and Joseph Craft.
He married his cousin Mary Ann Craft, the daughter of his Uncle William Craft, on 24 December 1875 at Brisbane Water, New South Wales Australia [2] and their children were of Robina/Rubeana (Craft) Chick, Agnes Craft, Ethel R (Craft) Hawkins, Ethel Craft, Emma Craft, Ernest Craft, Henry James Craft, Victor Burt Craft and Youell Craft.
John died on 17 October 1928 at Cessnock, New South Wales, Australia [3].
