Beverly, Theresa E. Cragg here again. I show that Henry was born to a Margaret Cragg before she married a man named James Wells. She was not married at the time of Henry's birth and I don't believe James is the father. Maybe this is where the Wells name came in. Also show the Craggs originated from England. They were Quakers, and I do recall my Dad saying there were Quakers in the family. Unfortunately, I did not write down which genealogy search engine I used to gain this info, but the last entry I have shows a Deacon John Cragg, Date of Death 5/23/1630 in Lancashire, England. Date of Birth: 1570.

Hello Beverly, I am Theresa E. Cragg, daughter of Everett W. Cragg, son of John W. Cragg. I am wondering at the middle name you have here for John. My Dad, Everett, said his Father's middle name was "Wells" not William. Also, his Father was: Henry Craig (aka Cragg), and his Mother was Sarah Ann Morrow. I show Henry and Sarah were from Canada. I have seen Henry Craig's headstone at Fremont Cemetary in Mayville, MI
