Biography
John Cragg was born in Lincolnshire, England.
John was born in about 1762 in Threekingham, Lincolnshire, England to John Cragg (1734-1789) and his wife Mary (Arnold) Cragg (-abt.1797). He was baptised on 11 July 1762 [1]
John and Ann had at least five children, one of whom died an infant.
John died in 1832 and was buried in Threekingham on 26 Nov 1832 [2]
The Cragg family lived in Loundon Hall in Threekingham for generations.

Unable to find a marriage record for John Cragg and Ann Warren. However there is a marriage recorded on 06 Jun 1786 in Walcot, Lincolnshire, between an Elizabeth Walker of Walcot and a John Cragg of Threekingham. One of the witnesses was John Warren. This record is on FreeReg. [4]. The same marriage is on FindMyPast [5]
Warren is probably the correct name - Walker a transcription error. One of the witnesses on the image is John Warren. Ann's father was John Warren. On this basis I have added the marriage.
Some family trees on Ancestry.com have the couple marrying at Gretna Green in 1787. I have checked the ScotlandsPeople website for marriages and can find no record. Calcutt-41
