Whereas ...... 28 Jan 1743 did grant and confirm unto William Hume.... and wife Francis his wife on 17 Jan 1744 sold unto Samuel Blunston,....died...no heirs... two nieces..Sarah the wife of Peter Worall and Hannah the wife of Thomas Pearson and they sold 7 Apr 1749 to John Craig. John Craig died ....leaving issue: Sarah Craig the wife of David Allan and Mary Craig the wife of Archibald Sloan (the father of the sd Isabel Sloan, Sarah Sloan, George Sloan and Rosannah Sloan) John Craig and Isabel Craig.... I am looking for information regarding Mary CRAIG who was born about 1748 in Hanover. She married Archibald Sloan who died in 1804 in Botetout Co., VA.
Mary CRAIG SLOAN died young between 1775-1778 in Lancaster, PA.
Western Pa. Genealogy Quarterly - Vol. 10 p. 270 says: John Craig of Hanover twp. Lancaster Co. Pa. died intestate 1760 Children Sarah m. David Allen, Mary Craig m. Archibald Sloan of Hanover twp. Isabel m. _?_ Watson, John Craig m. Sables Boggs of Rapho twp. in 1773, lived in Western PA 1800.
